Job Description
Position Summary
The Development and Membership Associate provides critical support for fundraising operations, communications, and events. This role manages the CRM, membership program, and logistics for donor engagement activities, ensuring a positive experience for supporters.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage donor CRM (Neon One): gift entry, acknowledgments, reports, data accuracy and training to other team members.
• Coordinate membership program renewals, benefits, and communications.
• Lead annual fundraising campaigns, including annual appeals and online giving initiatives.
• Support planning and execution of special events, including sponsorship benefit fulfillment.
• Draft and schedule donor communications (emails, newsletters, social media, etc.). This is done in conjunction with the Marketing Communications Manager – with Development taking the lead (i.e. messaging)
• Provide administrative support for development
• Serve as the first point of contact for donor inquiries.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of nonprofit, fundraising, or administrative experience.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities.
• Strong CRM experience
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team.
