Position Summary

Are you passionate about building community and supporting a mission that makes a difference? The Development and Membership Associate plays a vital role in advancing our fundraising efforts, strengthening relationships with donors and members, and ensuring every supporter feels valued. From managing our donor database to leading membership initiatives and supporting key campaigns, this position is the hub that helps connect generosity to impact.

Key Responsibilities

Steward our donor community by managing our CRM (Neon One), ensuring accurate gift entry, acknowledgments, reporting, and training for teammates.

Lead our membership program, overseeing renewals, benefits, and ongoing communications to keep members engaged and inspired.

Coordinate fundraising campaigns, including our annual appeal, Giving Tuesday, and other online giving initiatives.

Support memorable donor experiences by assisting with special events, managing logistics, and ensuring sponsor benefits are fulfilled.

Craft compelling communications (emails, newsletters, social media, and more) in collaboration with our Marketing & Communications Manager—helping to tell the story of our mission.

Provide vital administrative support to ensure smooth development operations.

Serve as the first point of contact for donors and members, offering outstanding service and support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

1–3 years of nonprofit, fundraising, or administrative experience.

Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail.

Excellent communication and writing abilities.

Experience with CRM systems (preferably Neon One).

Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
