Location: Remote (Must reside in Georgia; statewide travel required)

Employment Type: Full-time | Exempt

Salary Range: $50,000–$65,000, commensurate with experience. The salary range is firm.

Benefits: Mileage and approved travel expenses reimbursed. No health or retirement benefits.

Job Summary:

Georgia Trauma Foundation is seeking a passionate, organized, and mission-driven Community Engagement & Development Specialist to help advance trauma care across Georgia. In this fully remote position, you’ll coordinate impactful regional events in Georgia’s ten public health districts, lead planning for our annual statewide fundraising gala, and support donor engagement and outreach.

This is a unique opportunity to make a measurable difference while working with a committed team that values flexibility, collaboration, and community impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute awareness and fundraising events across Georgia, including the annual statewide gala.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, healthcare partners, and regional stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at events, meetings, and public health outreach opportunities.
• Support donor engagement and sponsor recognition activities.
• Track participation, engagement, and outreach outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in event planning, nonprofit outreach, development, or communications.
• Exceptional organization and communication skills.
• Comfortable with remote work and in-state travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM or donor software experience a plus.
